Our aim

The Northampton Dragon Boat Festival has already become established as a key summer fixture in Northampton.

In order to continue to raise money for good causes, the Rotary Clubs of Northampton are committed to providing a packed day of entertainment for all the family, including shows and events, trade stalls and competitions, together with food and refreshments.

As well as a fun and entertaining day, our prime aim is to raise as much money as possible for the selected charities. Much of our profit comes from personal sponsorship raised by boat crew members and we ask each
rower to try and raise at least £50 from their friends, relatives and work mates. Gift Aid forms are supplied to
ensure the Tax Man also contributes!

We have  excellent DVDs of the first event and the 2009 Dragon Boat festival - we can provide copies for a small fee or you may borrow one and show your friends and colleagues how much everyone enjoys the day.  We will give full recognition to all our sponsors and the event is always well covered by local press, radio and TV.
